POP Goes the OPERA - A Mash-up of Pop Hits and Opera Classics

THIS IS NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHER’S OPERA! We’ll give your favorite pop songs operatic stylings and familiar tunes from grand and light opera will be sung with a bounce and a beat and a little kick. In this concert, we will not behave. The original composer of each song will no doubt roll over in his grave.

Come be amazed at Men Alive’s versions of opera tunes like “With Catlike Tread” from The Pirates of Penzance or “The Flower Duet” from Lakmé. How about Adam Lambert or Lady Gaga? You will love our versions of “Whataya Want from Me” and “The Edge of Glory.” Or see our live rendition of Warner Bros.' 1957 animated classic What’s Opera, Doc? with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. You will definitely want to see this!
