When you join Men Alive you are doing more than just becoming part of a choral group - you are becoming part of a family. Men Alive strives to provide a welcoming atmosphere in which anyone will find opportunities for musical excellence, camaraderie, support, and lifelong friends.

A Few Items To Note: 

• Open Rehearsals: If you are interested in becoming a singing member, we encourage you to first attend an actual rehearsal of Men Alive, to see and hear the Chorus, meet some of our members, and discover if this is something for you. Please contact our Artistic Director if you wish to attend a rehearsal.


• Time Commitment: Men Alive presents three main concerts each year, usually in December, March, and July. Our regular rehearsals are every Tuesday night, 7:00 to 9:30 in Laguna Hills. In addition, one or two special sectionals may be called each concert period, and one or two dress rehearsals the week of a concert is common.


• Financial Commitment: The annual dues of Men Alive are $150 per year, payable in three equal installments of $50 per concert period. You must also arrange for your performance tuxedo and accessories. Most members buy an inexpensive tuxedo from a tux rental shop, a discount store, or even on sale at a retail shop. But of course you can rent a tux for each concert.
